PARAGLIDING+Danyang!!

So I can't believe I actually tried paragliding!!! IT WAS CRAZY AWESOMEEEE and I did not regret any bit of it. haha okay there's actually a hilarious story behind me paragliding. So my friends asked me if I wanted to paraglide cos the school was offering a day trip out to Danyang (countryside) and we could do paragliding there too. In my head I thought paragliding=parasailing! In my head was just images of the boat pulling the parachute into the air hahaha. And I wanted to do parasailing for the longest time ever but always put it off cos of the cost and the lack of opportunity too. So thinking now was finally a great chance to do it, I jumped at the opportunity.

Then, a few days before, my big aunty came to visit and I was like shit, how I cannot touch water! So there I was panicking and asking my friend what I should do. The convo was as such:

Me: Omg how I cannot touch water leh my period came!

Yw: Why do you need to touch water?
Me: Paragliding not the boat pull you then you fly one meh?
Yw: LOL omg no go and google what is paragliding!!

*Disclaimer* It's not the exact words, but you get what I mean ahahahah.

So anyway, yeap I went to google and found out I was freaking going to JUMP OFF A CLIFF. hahaha I panicked a little then but after that I became very excited and thought this will be an even better experience than parasailing LOL. So I did it and really no words can describe how wonderful it was flying in the air and seeing the beautiful scenery. It was simply breathtaking:) I will definitely do it all over again if I could!! The video size is too large to be uploaded here, but here's the shortened clip or link to see the whole thing if you're interested!:)

LOL omg and I remember a moment when I was paragliding and talking to my instructor. I asked him how long has he been doing this and he showed me 3 fingers. So I was like 3 years? 33 years? And he say 3 days LOLLLL CAN YOU IMAGINE MY HORROR. hahah I was like omg 3 days hahah I even said it in the video LOL captured on film. Like how lucky can I get the other instructors all paraglided for like at least 10 to 20 years already haha. But he is really good though! I felt safe and all so no worries! ^^

The rest of the day was spent exploring Danyang, we went to this cave (which i forgot the name LOL) but it was pretty interesting cos most caves have you going deep underground but for this cave we were going up all the way. So we had to climb steps and the paths were really narrow it felt like we were playing some game ducking down and sideways all haha.

 Jumpshots allday errdayyyy~

Boseong green tea fields!

On the way back from Danyang ( where I did paragliding and its so freaking fun but that will be my next post!^^) and the traffic jam is so bad that I have been on the bus for 4 hours when its supposed to only take 2 hours. So I decided to spend the time to blog about my boseong trip.

Haha so yes finally we went to boseong! I have been asking for so long to go to boseong cos I seen so many beautiful pictures of that place and considering im a huge fan of green tea, this place is a must go for me! Park mihi will be proud of us, she recommended us to go there haha. She is my korean teacher btw lol.

Overall I will say boseong is worth going, but just once and not like repeated trips there. Cos firstly, it is crazy far out of seoul. We thought it will take like max 4 hours only,  but we ended up spending like about 8 hours travelling on the bus. So yes basically our whole day was on the bus. Reached boseong at 4plus in the afternoon and it was almost too late to do anything. (We actually planned to go to the green tea fields, green tea spa etc but all these closed pretty early, like once sun sets.) So we only managed to go to the green tea fields before it became too dark to do anything. The green tea fields were super pretty though!!! Pictures below here to show you the beauty of this place. I loveeee nature:))

Me trying to act as hobo as possible but failing terribly HAHAH.

Flippin' hair alldayerrdayyyy

No idea what we were doing here hahah

Candid shot Ft. actyigechio HAHAHA

Everyone practically took a selfie shot here with the same background hahaha.

Me and my flip hair buddy hahaha freaking funny you have no idea how many failed shots we took for this shampoo advertisement cos I couldn't keep a straight face!

And when we came down from the fields it was only 6pm but it was already so dark there was nothing we could do. The green tea ice cream here is super famous though, and when we reached down the ahjumma was going to close shop but she kindly made 12 ice creams for us before she closed. THE ICE CREAM IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER ATE. serious no kidding look at how good it looks!!!

The taste is so awesome too, really best green tea ice cream I ever ate, it was so creamy and the serving was so big, too bad this place is so far away from seoul, if not I will probably get one every day to eat. (Against my diet rules lolll)

We went to eat green tea samgyupsal after that!! Okay not exactly green tea flavoured, but the pigs there eat green tea leaves lolll. Surprisingly chewy and delicious!! :))

And then we went to the beach to put some fireworks. Some of the pretty pictures we captured on camera:))

So after that we decided to check in to our pension, lol we smuggled in some people, almost got caught but all is good, we all managed to get in safely and the room was beyond big, more than enough for all of us to sleep comfortably loll.

Had an early rest cos we wanted to go to some mud flat or something the next morning. But it rained so sadly we didn't manage to go that too. We decided to go back to the green tea fields to get some green tea goodies before heading back to seoul. Pretty happy with my loots though!  Got loads of green tea, green tea candy and green tea latte! (The green tea latte was damn awesome!!! Best i drank so far also haha)

Ate another green tea ice cream and it was good but still the one we ate the day before was way better!! The better one is right at the foot of the green tea fields. And then we were off back to Seoul! 8 hours of travelling...AGAIN. lol thats the thing about countrysides. You spend like most of the time travelling to the places. Luckily Danyang wasn't as bad as boseong. Can't wait to do up my next post!! :))
